Dopo circa un mese di stop dall’ultimo post, è giunto il momento di tornare a raccontare un po’ di quello che sta succedendo (spoiler: tantissime cose 👀).
👋🏻 Ciao, mi chiamo Filippo e in questa newsletter voglio raccontare la nascita e crescita di Levels, startup nata a maggio con l’obiettivo di innovare le aziende italiane, con progetti di AI ad hoc.
Eravamo rimasti all’apertura della Partita Iva il 7 maggio. Pensavamo che la burocrazia fosse finita, ma invece non era così… poveri ingenui…
Dopo la P.IVA, è necessario iscriversi al Registro delle Imprese, quindi altri giorni di attesa durante i quali avevamo la partita iva, ma non potevamo farci niente, se non che aspettare e cercare nuovi clienti.
Abbiamo aspettato altre due settimane e finalmente dopo poco più di due mesi e circa 1300€, l’azienda è iscritta ufficialmente alla Camera di Commercio (eccoci qui: registroimprese.it)! Dopodiché, sono stati controllati i requisiti per essere startup innovativa, aspettando un’altra settimana e inviando infiniti fogli firmati.
Questo è solo l’inizio. Aprirla ha richiesto del tempo e del sacrificio, mille chiamate e mille documenti da leggere, capire e studiare. Ma ora abbiamo il via libera. 🏁
❓Okay, cos’altro è successo nell’ultimo mese?
💰 Conto Corrente Aziendale
Fondamentale aprire il conto corrente, sia per ricevere il capitale sociale che era stato versato al notaio sia per iniziare a fatturare. Per aprire il conto corrente, dovevamo aspettare il codice REA (Repertorio Economico e Amministrativo), assegnato dalla Camera di Commercio. Abbiamo scelto Qonto e l’apertura è stata velocissima, così come l’arrivo della carta aziendale a casa.
Adesso dobbiamo iniziare a tenere traccia di ogni spesa che entra e esce dal conto (in un foglio Excel chiamato prima nota, che dovrà essere mandato al commercialista). Vietato sbagliare.
🇪🇺 Evento EIT Digital a Bruxelles
EIT Digital ha scritto un post su di noi nella loro newsletter! È stata una bella soddisfazione vedere la nostra storia (che è ancora tutta da scrivere) in una newsletter dove ci sono oltre 40k persone iscritte.
Inoltre, ci hanno anche invitati a presentare le nostre idee e a spiegare come siamo motivati a portare innovazione nelle aziende italiane, a Bruxelles, davanti ad alcuni Funzionari Europei. 🇪🇺
Questo evento ci ha offerto una straordinaria opportunità per far conoscere la nostra realtà, presentare i nostri servizi e la nostra vision.
L’evento tenutosi si chiamava Grow Digital 24 e fa un certo effetto vedere il nostro logo, creato molto velocemente, lì in basso a destra.
🏓 Ping Pong
Si sa, la pausa pranzo è un momento importantissimo durante le giornate lavorative: stacchi la testa, sei a metà giornata, ti rilassi. Ecco, al Talent Garden la pausa pranzo è di notevole importanza. Non solo perchè riesci a prendere il sole che per tutta la mattina non sei riuscito a vedere lavorando sotto terra, ma per via del ping pong.
Da quando abbiamo iniziato a giocarci un mese fa non abbiamo più smesso, soprattutto per un motivo: Tommaso ha sempre vinto contro di me ed Emanuele, e questa cosa non ci andava giù. Settimane e settimane di egemonia, partite senza neanche la possibilità di battere Tommaso. Era semplicemente troppo forte.
Ma qualcosa è cambiato nell’ultima settimana: sono riuscito a batterlo. Doveva succedere prima o poi, ed è successo. Ora sta a me gestire questa situazione, senza rischiare la caduta di potere.

La Prima Fattura
In tutto questo, tra un evento e l’altro, una partita a ping pong e svariate chiamate con gli avvocati, abbiamo emesso la prima fattura, che non si scorda mai.
Ora inizierà la parte divertente, cioè quella di consegnare ciò che ci è stato richiesto, ma questo è un altro discorso che verrà affrontato prossimamente. Noi siamo carichissimi e pronti a tutto, siamo qui per imparare, per crescere e per cercare di cambiare questo Paese. Mi piace immaginare che un giorno saremo così grandi che gli studenti usciti dal Politecnico sogneranno di lavorare con noi, da Levels.
C’è tanto da fare, siamo solo all’inizio e ogni settimana è una settimana fondamentale.
Proprio come nel ping pong, ogni mossa è importante e può fare la differenza. Manteniamo la concentrazione e continuiamo a giocare, un colpo alla volta. (cit. chatgpt)

After about a month of break since the last post, it’s time to start sharing a bit about what’s happening again (spoiler: a lot of things 👀).
👋🏻 Hi, my name is Filippo, and in this newsletter, I want to tell you about the birth and growth of Levels, a startup founded in May with the goal of innovating Italian companies with custom AI projects.
We left off at the opening of the VAT number on May 7th. We thought the bureaucracy was over, but it wasn’t… poor naive us…
After the VAT number, it’s necessary to register with the Companies Register, so more days of waiting during which we had the VAT number, but couldn’t do anything with it, except wait and look for new clients.
We waited another two weeks and finally, after a little more than two months and about €1300, the company is officially registered with the Chamber of Commerce (here we are: registroimprese.it)! After that, the requirements to be an innovative startup were checked, waiting another week and sending endless signed papers.
This is just the beginning. Opening it required time and sacrifice, a thousand calls, and a thousand documents to read, understand, and study. But now we have the green light. 🏁
❓Okay, what else happened in the last month?
💰 Business Bank Account
It was essential to open the bank account, both to receive the share capital that had been deposited with the notary and to start invoicing. To open the bank account, we had to wait for the REA code (Economic and Administrative Index), assigned by the Chamber of Commerce. We chose Qonto and the opening was very quick, as was the arrival of the company card at home.
Now we need to start keeping track of every expense that comes in and goes out of the account (in an Excel sheet called "prima nota," which will need to be sent to the accountant). No mistakes allowed.
🇪🇺 EIT Digital Event in Brussels
EIT Digital wrote a post about us in their newsletter! It was a great satisfaction to see our story (which is still being written) in a newsletter with over 40k subscribers.
Moreover, they also invited us to present our ideas and explain how we are motivated to bring innovation to Italian companies, in Brussels, in front of some European Officials. 🇪🇺
This event offered us an extraordinary opportunity to make our reality known, present our services and our vision.
The event was called Grow Digital 24 and it was quite an experience to see our logo, quickly created, there at the bottom right.
🏓 Ping Pong
As you know, the lunch break is a very important moment during working days: you clear your head, you’re halfway through the day, you relax. At Talent Garden, the lunch break is very important. Not only because you get to enjoy the sun that you couldn’t see all morning while working underground, but because of ping pong.
Since we started playing a month ago, we haven’t stopped, especially for one reason: Tommaso always won against me and Emanuele, and this didn’t sit well with us. Weeks and weeks of dominance, games without even a chance to beat Tommaso. He was simply too strong.
But something changed last week: I managed to beat him. It had to happen sooner or later, and it did. Now it’s up to me to handle this situation without risking a fall from power.

The First Invoice
In all this, between events, a ping pong game, and various calls with lawyers, we issued the first invoice, which you never forget.
Now the fun part begins, that is, delivering what has been requested, but that’s another story to be addressed soon. We are super excited and ready for anything, we are here to learn, grow, and try to change this country. I like to imagine that one day we will be so big that students graduating from the Polytechnic will dream of working with us at Levels.
There is so much to do, we are just at the beginning, and every week is a crucial week.
Just like in ping pong, every move is important and can make a difference. Let’s stay focused and keep playing, one shot at a time (chatgpt).
